Toyota Repair: Passenger door electrical malfunctions, side kick panel, electrical malfunctions

Question
My 1998 Corolla is a gem, however, recently the passenger door lock doesn't respond to either the driver's side key or lock/unlock button. Now I'm having trouble with the passenger power window. The other day I put it down okay, but when I tried to raise it, no response. I pulled up on it and wiggled it a little and then it went up about an inch, I waited and it went up another inch, until it closed. Later the same thing happened. Now I have the child lock on so I don't accidentally forget and open it again! Also, the same day, the red light was on to indicate a door was open. I went all around the car and saw they were all tightly closed and the light remained on. I asked the passenger to open her door and shut it and the light went off. I'm wondering since all of these problems are on the passenger door, if there is a specific electrical harness that could be replaced to fix these problems, or if you think they are related. Please let me know what you think. Thank you!

Answer
It sounds like there may be a wiring problem between the connectors inside the door and the right side kick panel connector, remove the kick panel and check the connector coming through from the door, make sure it's clean and tight. remove the door panel and inspect the wiring there as well as where the wire harness goes through the door to the inside, remove some of the insulation from the harness and check for broken wires or use an ohm meter and check each wire between the door and the inside connector.
