Toyota Repair: 1994 Corolla fuel problem, banjo bolt, jumper wire

Question
Car turns over but won't start. Cracked the banjo bolt on the fuel filter and cranked with only small amount of fuel coming out. Likewise fat fuel rail input line. No voltage at fuel pump but continuity at ground. The EFI relay tests out ok and the fuse box receptacle for the relay tests ok. After testing for voltage at the fuel pump, the fuel gauge indicator stopped registering. Car starts and runs with carb cleaner sprayed into throttle body. How can I check if there is gas ion the tank -maybe the gauge was malfunctioning? Should I change the fuel pump? I am financially strapped and need to get this car on the road bu tomorrow and will appreciate any help you can give me.

Answer
Hello, under the hood locate the diagnostic check connector, open the cover and find terminals B+ and FP, measure the voltage on B+, if 12 volts then connect a jumper wire between B+ and FP, this should make the fuel pump run and start up,if it does the problem is not the pump and may be the circuit opening relay, if it does not start then the fuel pump is the problem.
