Toyota Repair: option of buying?, fuel pump, water pump

Hi Ted, i have a option of buying a 1991 PREVIA from a friend but the thing is he says that i would have to replace the water pump and the fuel pump for it to run. is this a good opportunity if he is asking 1000.00 usd? thank you.

It's not a good idea to buy a vahicle that is not running, the price is right but what if the fuel pump and water pump don't make it run and there are other problems, if you trust this friend I would say go ahead and buy it but be prepared to spend some money to get it running.
