Toyota Repair: transmission, nissans, transmission fluid

QUESTION: Hi,

Can you tell me what would make a transmission shift hard only when it's cold and only the first shift?  The fluid it pink but hasn't been changed recently

Not familiar with Nissans but some of them have a throttle pressure cable coming from the transmission up to the throttle body, try adjusting it it to make this cable longer and see if it helps. This can also be caused by using the incorrect transmission fluid.
