Toyota Repair: How to remove front disk brake on 2002 Sienna, cotter pin, front wheel drive

Question
This is 2002 Sienna CE, 105K, V6 Automatic, Front wheel drive. I want to remove the front disk brake to resurface but I can not pull it out after remove the cotter pin, lock cap and big nut. I sprayed WD40 and hit the disk brake with a hammer because it is rusting but no luck. Please help.

Answer
That big axle nut does not need to be removed, after removing the caliper the rotor can be pulled off the hub, sometimes rust buildup prevents the rotor from releasing sprying the center with rust pentrant and tapping it with a hammer will eventually let the disc slide off.
