Toyota Repair: Leaking Struts, toyota dealers, tire shops

Hello  i have a 1994 Toyota And i was told the other day When  i had break inspection That i had leaking struts And they told me it wasn't a safety issue right now   I had to get a new tire I had a front alignment and rotation I really don't have the money to get this fixed And want to know is it safe to drive my car with leaking struts Thank you Carolyn

That would depend on how bad they are leaking, these brake and alignment shops like to sell struts even if they are leaking a small amount, some seepage is even considered notmal. If possible, get another opinion and have them show you the actual leak, most toyota dealers usually do a free inspection of the suspension system especially if you have a minor service like your next oil change done there, I just don't trust those tire shops.
