Toyota Repair: 2001 Toyota Camry Issues, toyota camry, warning lights

Question
About 6 months ago, I put my car in reverse, pushed the gas pedal, and it wouldn't move.  After turning it off and back on again, it was fine.  A couple of times over the last couple months it has idled rough at a light or two, but then it has stopped.  3 weeks ago my car was idling rough at three or four stop lights.  When I got to the final stop light, it stopped idling rough, and I thought my car was fine.  Turns out when the light turned green, I pressed the gas pedal and my car wouldn't move.  I turned my flashers on, put my car in park, turned it off and on again and it worked fine.  I proceeded on my trip and had no more problems.  Today I was driving to school and I turned left to go across the median.  As I was turning, my power steering went out I think because I had to put a lot of force behind me turning.  I stopped to wait on traffic so I could cross, and when I pressed my gas pedal, it wouldn't go again.  I again turned my car off and on in park and it was fine after.  Any suggestions?  I'm so worried. Thanks.

Answer
When you say the car doesn't move does the engine stop running and do all the dash warning lights turn on or does the engine keep running but the car does not move, do you hear the engine rpm increase? While driving does the check engine light illuminate?
