Toyota Repair: Window & Lock Problem 2004 Avalon, 2004 toyota avalon, toyota avalon

Question
A couple of months ago my wife left the driver side window on my 2004 Toyota Avalon down.  The car was parked outside in the rain for several hours.  When I realized what had happened I mopped up the water and closed the window.

Within a day or so the window would no longer function.  I have been unable get it to open since then.  For the last month or so I have noticed my door locks cycling intermittently too.  There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it but it does subside if I actuate the unlock button on the driver's side door.  The cycling doesn't seem to be related to whether the car is running or not.  I have noticed it occurring when the car is parked and has been sitting several hours or even overnight.

My CD player also just quit working during the middle of a CD playing.  It made a sound similar to static on a radio and quit working.

Do I have a psycho electrical system or onboard computer or just a bunch of faulty components?  Thanks in advance for your advice.

Steve

Answer
It seems that the water that entered had something to do with this, possibly a malfunction with the body ECU which located at the lower left of the dash where all the fuses are, the body ecu is part of that junction block, it may have taken this long to form some corrosion so check the lectrical connectors going into the junction block, if there is any corrosion on any of the terminals clean them and if the problem persists I would recommend replacing the junction block/body ecu unit.
