Toyota Repair: steering lock jamed, car toyota corolla, toyota corolla 1987

lock hi, my car(Toyota corolla 1987) the steering lock is jammed. i tried fixing it and could not remove the lock to replace it. the lock is not even turning to Acc position. i removed the electrical unit down the lock and the car starts but the lock is stilled jammed. help me to replace a new lock.

As you probably know there is a release pin on the lock cylinder housing but the key has to be put to the ACC position to be able to press the release pin. What you can do is to use a puch that fits into the opening then try to hammer the pin to force it it, if that doesn't work you may have to drill out the center of the lock cylinder.
