Toyota Repair: drivers side power window, power window

the moter works, the cable is good, is there a clip or something that holds the window at the bottom? also the panel seems to not want to come off.

Thyere is no clip holding the window on the bottom, What is the window doing, what is the problem with it, how do you know the cable etc is good if the door panel is not off, please elaborate and be a little more specific and I would also need to know what year and model it is and which window and if any parts have been replaced yet.
