Toyota Repair: EFI, absolute nonsense, throttle bodies

Question
My 07 Corolla has just over 22,000 miles. I took it in for a recall, and they told me I need an EFI service. As well as a brake
and power steering flush. Just wondering if all this is necessary.

Answer
That's absolute nonsense, not at this mileage, maybe at 60,000 or 90,000 miles, save your money, they are just trying to upsell you something you don't need at this time. I would recommend just having the throttle body cleaned at about 60,000 miles, I have seen throttle bodies that build up carbon inside and cause stalling problems but not at this mileage, the brake and power steering flush I wouldn't worry about until about 100,000 miles.
