The driver door of my 98 toyota corrolla will not open from the inside.  The handle doesn't seem to be catching anything. The door opens from outside. The door lock and window are manual.  How do I fix this? What is the cause?

Most of the time is simply a linkage plastic clip that fell off either at the handle or at the door lock, the clips are available at the dealer. You will need to remove the door panel first, it's held on with plastic clips and a couple of screws in the arm rest and under the inner door handle.
