Questionmy 1995, toyota camry 4cyl. 2.2 engine keeps shutting off while driving. it all started on the freeway a couple of days ago, the tachometer sputtered down to 0rpm's and after a second or two it jumped back up to 3000rpm's. the check engine light is on, and seems to run well, when all of a sudden it starts to act up. please help, any advice would be greatly appreciatted. P.S. i've already replaced the spark plugs, cables, rotor, and distributor cap. thank you, xavier
AnswerI need to know why the check engine light comes on, can you take the car to an Autozone, Kragen, Oreilly or similar oparts store and have them connect the diagnostic tool to see what the trouble code number in the computer is, then I may be able to help.
