Toyota Repair: power window, window channels, cold weather

Question
My daughter has a 1998 Rav4, 5sp, 198,000 mi. The drivers window is very slow going up and down and has hung up in cold weather. I had to help it to get it to finish. This started after the door was backed into and repair was made. At first she said it was a little slow and has gotten worse. By the time it got bad, we had moved to another state. I am sure that I can get inside the door panel. Is there any adjustment or alignment that I can do to help it? Thank you

Answer
Thewindow may be binding up at the regulator or the window channels  try lubing the rubber window channels using a silicone based spray lube, lube the moving parts of the window regulator with a lithium based grease, there is very little adjustment of the guides possible, if lubrication doesn't seem to help the motor itself may be going out.
