Toyota Repair: landcruiser trip odometer, trip odometer, d drive

I have a 94 Landcruiser that has a broken trip odometer.  Can this be fixed/replaced or is is like the main odometer and designed not to be altered? Also the D (drive) light is burned out-can this be easily replaced?  Thanks!  Steve

The trip odometer does not have the legal restrictions on it that the main odometer does.  It can be fixed and will probably require removing the dash, as will fixing the burned out light on the "D".
While you are replacing the burned out bulb you may want to change out the other bulbs (so you don't have to take the dash apart 1 year down the road to change out another bulb)
