Toyota Repair: Electrical issue, 1991 toyota camry, fuse panel

Question
Hi i would like you to help me with an issue with my toyota camry 1991 model. My dash lights, clock, dome lights, tail lights arent working anymore. I checked the fuse under the hood and noticed that the fuse for the dome light was short. I changed it and it blew 3 times. I did a little research online and found out about the lamp failure sensor in the trunk. I checked it out and it doesnt like its burnt in anyway and I really dont know wat to do now. I cant drive at night cos I am worried about being pulled over. Can you please help? Its a 1991 toyota camry with 170k miles on it.

Answer
The dome fuse doesn't supply power to those other lights, temporarely remove it then check the fuses inside in the fuse panel at the lower left of the dash, look for the "TAIL" fuse, replace it if needed then check the other lights. If the other lights work ok then replace the dome fuse if it still pops then there is a short in the dome light circuit which also runs the clock.
