Toyota Repair: 1991 toyota pickup, toyota pickup truck, starter wire

Question
i have a 1991 toyota pickup truck v6, and at times it dosent want to start up.it makes this clicking sound.it does it at times not alot but jus at times. i found the clicking it was my circuit opening relay makin the clicking. so now i want to know do i need to replace that or is there something else to look for.

Answer
Sounds like you have properly troubleshot your vehicle.  These relays are not cheap so, first,  I would check the wiring leading to the starter.  If it is loose it may cause this same situation.  Also, check for a fusible link in the starter wire from the battery. I've seen them installed before and be the source of the problem.

Hope this helps.
