QuestionI have a dead mouse nest in the heater fan housing. How do I access this to clean it out? The work space is small and I can not tell how or what to disassemble.
AnswerIf you own a toyota car, the best way is remove the blower motor.
The blower motor is sitting underneath of passager side dash.
The common blower motor remove procedure:
1 you need remove passager side sound shield, just undo couple of clips.
2 turn on the fan, you could trace the motor sound and find the blower motor, black, round stuff
3 disconnect the blower motor harness, the harness just has 2 wire, red and black.
4 use 8mm socket and remove 3 blower motor secure bolts and blower motor could be taken out
clean and put back on.
