QUESTION: No it does not have a sunroof.  My husband and I removed the front seats, turned up the carpet and are attempting to dry out the car.  Just the floor (metal) is wet....carpets and padding are wet, The rain that we had here in Florida yesterday was the worst we have seen in a long time and we are hoping that this is a one time deal.   Is it possible that where the wipers sit that water didn't not have the time to drain properly and went down in to the body of the SUV.....other than letting the car dry out and then sitting in the car while someone hoses the car from the top down, especially my the roof racks....just can't figure where it came from or how it got to the different areas...my husband is a retired mechanic ( Porsche, Audi, Toyota, etc.) and is baffled by this.

Answer
Roof racks normally can't leak this much water inside in a short time, if at all so I don't think it's the problem. It's usually the sunroof but it doesn't have one. I think I would agree with after drying it to run a water hose on the roof and also the windshield and windows and into the fron vents along the windshield, check the area for excessive leaves etc which can clog the drain openings and let water inside through the air vents.
