Toyota Repair: Noise from clutch ?, internal gears, clutch disc

Question
Hi
Have a Corolla 1.3 XLI from 1995 mileage is 180000 km .
Have a shuttering noise from clutch area/gearbox area heard in vehichle slow running . The shuttering noise disseapears when clutch pedal is engaged and comes on again when pedal is released. Theres also a "scurring" shuttering noise when going reverse and turning at the same time . In the beginning i thought it was the brake discs that was making the noise .. but its not . Is the clutch disc friction plate and release bearing turning the other way round when going in reverse gear ?
Oil level in gear box is fine .
Clutch has never been changed
please help :)

Answer
The problem may not be the clutch, it sounds like it may be a transmission noise, when the clutch is depressed the transmission internal gears stop rotating and rotate after the pedal is released again, since the noise disappears when the clutch is pressed in this would mean the noise is in the transmission, there should also be noise when driving in all gears except fourth gear.
