Toyota Repair: air conditioner, toyota camry, pressure gauge

Question
i have a 1992 Toyota camry and my air conditioner is not working very well. does this air conditioner have filters that need to be replaced and if so where are they?

Answer
It has a "receiver drier" filter inline on the high pressure side which is designed to filter out moisture, in most cases a/c inefficiency is due to a leak in the system or low freon pressures, I would have it checked for that first, it's not something you can do yourself, a pressure gauge has to be connected to read the freon pressures.
