Toyota Repair: 4Runner ABS Light On, abs light, wheel speed

Question
QUESTION: I am negotiating the buy of a 2000 4Runner. The truck is in great shape 118K miles 4x4. When I drove it the brake pedal went down pretty far on the first try and was normal on the 2nd. The ABS light was also on. I asked the guy selling it (private lot) and he said he had the brakes worked on and thought the brake needed bleeding. He called me back the next day and said the ABS light was still on. As I stated when I first drove the truck the brake pedal went down easy and on the 2nd pump I got a good pedal feel.  After he then bled the lines and I returned and the pedal and brakes were fine but the ABS light was still on.  Could this be because the brakes needed to be bled?   I got the code it was = 33 RR sensor.  I'd like to clear the codes just to see if it returns before I replace the sensor.
Thanks in advance

ANSWER: The abs codes will not clear by disconnecting the battery or fuses, it should be connected to a diagnostic scantool to clear the code. Do you know if any work was done to the right rear axle, was the bearing replaced or any other parts on the right rear?

QUESTION: I was told the rotors were taken off and turned.  What else I don't know.  I tried to reste the ABS codes per a chilton's manaul (unhook the ABS adapter, Jump across TC and E1, turn on ingnition and pump the brake pedal 8 times in less than 3 seoncds) and it did not reset the system. Any other thoughs?  I going to pull the wheel and have a look and if all else fails take it to a dealer for them to look at.

Answer
If there is an open circuit in either the speed sensor or the wiring the code will not clear even if using the scantool at the dealer, the delaer will be able to connect the scantool and get live data for each wheel speed sensor as the car is driven, I would suspect that there is no signal to the ECM from the right rear sensor.
