QUESTION: correct .awesome fuel pressure  good spark  have not compression tested yet,but dont see that as being the problem. any suggestions?

Answer
If the distributor was off a tooth then it would affect all cylinders the same with a loss of power on all, this is isolated to the #2 cylinder, there are two things that should be checked next, injector pulse and compression. Get an inexpensive injector test light from an autoparts store and remove the injector connector and plug the light into the connector, while the engine is cranking the light should flash meaning that the injector is getting the signal to fire, if not there is a wiring or computer problem, of it's OK check the engine compression.
