Toyota Repair: Coolant, negative battery cable, water spout

Question
QUESTION: HI Ted
I have a 04 Camry SE and the water spout light on the dash is lit, which is the coolant, correct? I think I bought the Preston 50/50 mix the last time it was low but I don't remember exactly. I can use this, right? The light is on and I want to fill it up asap as I can't drive to the dealer to get the oem stuff. I would like to be able to get something at my local Target.

Thanks
Ed

ANSWER: Use the premixed coolant it is compatible with the toyota super long lifr fluid.

QUESTION: Thanks---that's what I did---although the coolant was a little bit low, it wasn't the coolant light on my dash after all---it was the check engine light. I had it looked at and what printed out was something about emissions but the guy checked my gas cap and it didn't appear to be on correctly and he said that's what probably caused the light to go on. He said it'll go off by itself in about 100 miles or so.

Answer
I need to know what the diagnostic trouble code number was in order to help more, check engine lights usually don't go off by themselves, try disconnecting the negative battery cable for about ten seconds this may turn the light off, if it comes back on have the code read and let me know what it is.
