Toyota Repair: 99 Camry LE 4cyl rear power window, window bottom, master switch

Question
Hello,

This is my girlfriend's car, it's an automatic & has 200000 miles.  Left rear power window is inoperative & stuck midway.  It won't go up or down, and only moves very slightly if at all both with the the switch on that door as well as using the driver's master switch. I'm suspecting the motor and am going to remove the panel, check wiring & use a test light to verify that it's getting power.  The other windows are all working fine.

My main question assuming the motor indeed needs to be replaced, is if there's any way to manually raise the window to the upper most closed position in order to access the motor?

I've also heard that there's a lot of tension when disengaging the motor from the regulator. If that's true, are there any safety tips I should follow when handling this?  Any tips or insight you could give me would be greatly appreciated as I've never replaced one of these before.  Thank you in advance!

Answer
In order to get the window up it needs to be removed from the regulator, try to move the window up using the switch until the 10mm regulator bolts can be removed from the window bottom, if this is not possible remove all the 10mm bolts from the regulator and let the window fall down, remove the bolts attaching the window to the regulator and pull the window up and out if necessary. Remove the regulator through the opening in the metal door panel.
