Toyota Repair: 99 Camry backup light wire, broken wires, wayn

Question
Back up lights weren't working, so I replaced the bulbs and checked the fuse, which was good. Discovered when I moved the wire in the trunk that leads to the back up lights they would flash on and off, then they finally just quit. Where can I find a replacement wire to fix it? (if it's a relatively easy do it yourself fix...) Thanks. Josh

Answer
You need to cut the insulation open on the wire harness running along the left trunk hinge all the wayn into the trunk, there are usually a couple of broken wires, wire is available at any autop arts store, you can either use crimp on connectors or solder the new wires in to the broken ones.
