Toyota Repair: 97 Avalon ABS ans SRS lights on, jumper wire, abs light

Question
In preparation of selling the vehicle ( 97 Avalon prod date 10/96) I decided to change out the pads front and rear. I had the battery disconnected. Just did a simple pad change, compressed pistons and installed new pads and put everything back. I slowly depressed brake pedal several times allowing pedal to return slowly as well until it felt right. Then I reconnected the battery and allowed vehicle to warm up while I double checked the rest of the fluids, cleaned up, etc.
Backed the vehicle out of the drive, turning wheel all the way to the right, and backed up the street 30-40 feet. I put vehicle in drive and proceeded about 50 - 100 feet and the ABS light came on and stayed on, not blinking. I checked fuses, brake fluid levels, etc.
I searched online and found what I believed to be credible info on resetting the light with a jumper wire via the diagnosis port under the hood ( not OBD-II in cabin) by pulling the short pin and connecting E1 to TC and depressing the brake pedal 8 - 10 times in 3 seconds. All the lights in the dash began flashing consistently except for ABS which flashed two series of 3, or 3 ... 3. When I finished not only was the ABS light still on but the Airbag light was now on as well!

The website said that the ABS code related to right rear abs sensor so I pulled both right and left rear sensors to inspect and clean and reinstalled, disconnected battery and drove again with no change.
I , foolishly, followed more of the sites instruction and attempted another procedure to reset SRS. Connect E1 and alternate TC Ab one second each two times. Whatever, no change.

I checked all fuses again.
I took the vehicle to a trusted brake and exhaust guy but his Snap-on scanner is currently in for repairs.

I can sell this thing today if I could just get the lights off. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

P.S. - am a former trany mechanic so I have some level of understanding and proficiency but have been out of the game for a while.

Answer
You need to use the OBD II DTC connector inside under the dash and connect the OBDII compatible scantool and get the codes for me so I can help, it's very likely theat one of the ABS sensor wires was stretched during the brake work and the wire inside the insulation broke.
