Toyota Repair: low beams dont work, low beams, daytime running lights

Question
It's a 2005 Toyota Corolla CE. It has lights automatically on at start-up. All four fuses (1 each L/R high and low) are good. Both high beams work. Both low beams don't work. Both went out between start-up and needing them for night time driving. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Answer
It sounds like it has daytime running lights, there are a couple of reasons for this, the DRL relay located under the rights side of the dash is burned out or there is a bad ground connection under the dash on the left, there is a connector that has a lot of white/black wires going into it, seperate this connector and chek the ground connections, check to see if the wires are dark/burned looking, if so then there is the problem, the DRL relay should also be replaced after the wiring is repaired.
