Toyota Repair: 2003 toyota corolla airbag light reset, jumper wire, haynes manual

The airbag light recently came on in our 2003 Toyota Corolla CE. I tried my OBD code reader, but can see no codes displayed. The Haynes manual is very vague about any self-repair on the system. Can you guide me through diagnosis and/or light reset? Thanks, Kevin

if the airbag light is on there should be codes in the system. Maybe your code reader can't read srs codes, there is another way to check and clear codes using the dts check connector and a jumper wire, can you give me an email address to send instructions to in a follow up.
