QUESTION: All of the fuses are good, and the problem still exists. It is a 1989 Toyota Corolla SR5.
AnswerCheck the tail light bulbs and sockets, check all the electrical connectors and the ground wires, also make sure that the bulbs are correct and not mixed up, some of them have two contacts and some only one. If a testlight is available disconnect the main connector coming from the front and see if the green wires have voltage with the headlight switch on, if yes then the problem is in the rear, if not then the problem may be the combination switch or an open circuit.
