i put in a new motor a 22re but no fuel so i took down the tank and it was rusted bad so i replaced it now fuel is going to the cold start injector but not in the plentum when i take it out and put gas straight in it starts so i took the cold start injector off the doner motor and it still wont start and it worked on the old motor any ideas? i dont want to spend 140 bucks if its something simple or can i bypass the injector with a plate and hose? please i need help bad

Answer
If the cold start injector is not working, not spraying fuel, then the rest of the injectors are not working either.
Check the black/white wire going to the injector, it should have battery voltage when the engine is cranking, this is the starter signal, the green wire goes to the cold start time switch which controls the length of time the injector stays on, it's located near the thermostat housing. Check the injector voltage on the rest of the injectors, remove a connector from one of the injectors, with the key on one terminal should have around 12 volts steady voltage, connect the test light across both terminals and the light should flash.
