Toyota Repair: 4-Runner choke, fuel mixture, cold start

Question
I have an 86 4-Runner and on a cold start, the engine will idle so low that it chokes itself down. It is the EFI SR5 model, and I am yet to even find out how to remove the choke. I can't even find out where it is. I was told it's a part of the EFI system but I wouldn't think it is. Either way, I would like to know how to get my truck idling right.

Answer
It doesn't really have a choke, the fuel mixture and idle speed are controlled by the computer. Does it adle normally at around 800 rpm when warmed up? If the cols start is the only issue I would recommend replacing the cold start injector time switch, it's located near the thermostat, it has a connector with two wires on it, it's the largest sensor on the housing.
