Toyota Repair: Camry clutch, clutch disc, clutch slippage

2002 Camry SE 135,000, 5-spd man.  yesterday noticed clutch slippage in 5th gear climbing hill.  today, 70 m. later slippage is possible in 3rd, 4th & 5th gear, with 5th unable to hold speed on hills.  what are we likely facing mechanically and financially, and is this a repair that should be done only by a dealer?

The repair can be done at any competent repair shop, it will cost less than at the dealer but keep in mind that their warranty may not be the same as the dealer. The clutch disc,pressure plate and release bearing are replaced and the flywheel resurfaced, it can easily run around $1,000 at he dealer.
