Toyota Repair: 1988 toyota pu 4x4 fuel prob., efi motor, toy 4x4

hello i have a 1988 toy 4x4 w/22re efi motor. turning the key on does not pressure up fuel pump no power to pump. can run hot wire to pump and once started power comes on at pump? please help. replaced pump and breaker

There may be a problem with the airflow meter, there are contacts in the meter that turn the fuel pump on, it may also be the circuit opening relay, I don't have any information anymore as to where it's located but I think it's under the glove compartment on the right side.
