Toyota Repair: engine swap 1989 toyota pickup v6, plenum chamber, toyota pickup

Question
I'm taking an engine out of a 1989 V6 toyota 4 x 4 pickup and putting it into another of the same and am wondering if there is a simplier way to get the electrical bundle of wire  that goes  under the manifold and behind the timing belt container out other than taking the manifold off.  Also, are there any unique problems that might occur in the process of swapping engines that I should be aware of?

Answer
The intake manifold doesn't have to be removed just the upper plenum chamber, the only wire that goes under the manifold is for the knock sensor. Can you use the existing wires on the other engine by just disconnecting at the computer and other sensors and using the entire wiring harness.
