Toyota Repair: 2005 toyota highlander window problems, 2005 toyota highlander, toyota highlander

Question
The rear windows keep coming off the track whenever they are used. I have removed the door panels and I don't see any obvious problem other than the track connected to the bottom of both windows may have shifted .5 inch. The little square plastic piece on the electric "arm" keeps popping out of the end like it's "running out" of the track. Do you know what else it could be and/or how to fix the track attached to the bottom of each window?

Answer
Your'e correct, the shifting of the track on the glass is the reason for this problem, the solution is to remove the glass and the guide piece on the glass and reposition it, the metal piece can be crimped to be tighter once its removed, the difficult part is getting it back on without shattering the glass, silicone spray helps, tapping it back on with a rubber hammer works but the main thing is to keep the top part of the glass off any hard surface or the glass may shatter.
