hi, thanks for your time.my problem is when i started my car today my accelerator would only partially work.when i press it to the floor it slowly rises to 2k rpm and no more and i also noticed it is slightly misfiring at idle but it seems like there is something wrong with the electric pedal or throttle body. CEL is on.thanks again

There is an engine misfire or a malfunction with the electronic  throttle control, the system  has gone into failsafe mode because the check engine light is on, the first thing to do is to connect a diagnostic scantool to find out what the diagnostic trouble codes are that are stored in the onboard computer.
