QuestionI want to install a trailer hitch onto my 2005 corolla the installation of the hitch is pretty straightforward i am concerned about the installation of the electrical harness I will need. Will I need to splice this onto my vehicle or is threre a location where I can plug the harness in? Thanks for your assistance.

They make kits that attach to the wires
for certain vehicles, otherwise you must splice
into each wire with a 3M connector and a special
crimper, its easy to do if you have the right equipment.
I suggest you go to a place that installs hitches,
they won't charge much to hook up the wires for you, that
way you don't have to worry about hooking them up wrong
if you haven't done it before. There are self help books
in libraries and auto parts stores if you want to attempt
it yourself.
