Toyota Repair: 98 camry 4dr power window, regulater, regulator assembly

Question
QUESTION: The driver door window will not go up. I have removed the door panel and have checked the motor with a 12v battery using each polarity. Also, the ohms read 279 which seems high. There is no motor action at all. To remove the motor seems to require also removing the window, but it is down, and I cannot manually raise it at all, let alone high enough to remove the bolts from the regulator. What's my next move?

ANSWER: The only solution is to cut the window regulator cables and then replace the regulator as well as the window motor.

QUESTION: I will do that, thank you for the info. I have seen a picture of the regulator with motor attached, but I do not see any cables. I see a coil spring in the picture. Are the cables concealed in the regulator?

Answer
No, it's a different type of regulator that doesn't use the cables, remove the electrical connector from the motor, remove all the 10mm bolts from the window regulator, let the regulator drop down and move the window up by hand until the regulator can be pulled out of the guide on the bottom of the window or the bolts can be accessed on the bottom of the window, once the regulater is freed from the window, the motor/regulator assembly can be pulled out throught opening.
