QUESTION: my 2007 camry's sunroof won't open,it will tilt but not open.brought it in for repair and they won't cover it, my car is still under warranty, the top of roof is buckled near the rubber on roof. told me someone must have walked on the roof. i think this is defected, what can i do, only 20,000 miles on car have you heard of this before?

Answer
If there is body damage caused by an outside source then there is no warranty coverage, no I have not heard of a roof panel being defective or deformed, I have no way of determining nor can i make a decision whether there is a factory defect without phisically inspecting the car myself, if they tell you that it looks like someone walked on the roof and deformed it then I would have to agree with that.
