Toyota Repair: car will not start, smell of gas, oil leak

Question
I have a 1994 camry and the engine turns over but will not crank. i walked away from it and saw a puddle under the front of the car checked it and it looks like oil and has a smell of gas. so i checked the oil stick and it also smells like gas i have no idea what is wrong please help before my wife kills me for buyin this car.

Answer
The timing belt may have broke or slipped on the pulleys, the oil is probably from one of the seals inside the timing cover, why it smells like gas may be due to prolonged cranking of the engine without starting. Remove the upper plastic timing cover to inspect the belt and check for the oil leak.
