How to remove ignition switch.

Hi there,

Remove all the plastic coverings that surround the switch. Place the key in the ignition and turn to "on" position. Look under the switch on the side underneath the steering column. You will see a silver colored "button". Take an ice pick and push the button in until it stops and hold it in. While still holding the button in, pull on the key that's still in the ignition and the switch will slide right out.

Make sure that when you install the new one, you hear the "button" or rather retainer pin snap into place, it's secure.
