QUESTION: i have a '93 standard 5 speed Tacoma v6 4x4. i am having problems with the speedometer not working. the cruise and odometer do not work either. i have replaced the speed sensor at the end of the transfer case and that did not correct the problem any other hints or suggestions that may be able to troubleshoot with

QUESTION: no no dash lights are coming on informing of a problem all the gauges work except for the speedometer odometer and the the cruise does not work


Answer
The problem could very well be the speedometer itself, there is another speed sensor in the speedometer which relays information to the computer, any malfunction with the speed sensor signal will not allow cruise control operation. Try replacing the speedometer.
