Toyota Repair: Slow filling gas tank 2002 Sienna, toyota repair, filler tube

My 2002 Sienna recently has had trouble filling the gas tank. The nozzle keeps on clicking as if the tank is full. However, the tank is 1/4 full. This has been happening a couple of months now. My local Toyota repair shop says they have never heard of this problem and offered no solution. It has about 75000 miles on it. I would think there is a problem with the fuel tank or its components. There is no check engine light coming on. Any solution or help would be appreciated.

The most common cause for this is that there is an obstruction in the fuel filler tube, something may have fallen in there, the filler tube may have to be removed for inspection and the inlet to the fuel tank checked to make sure the one way valve in the fuel tank opening is not obstructed.
