Toyota Repair: Parking Brake Action Lost, brake shoes, wheel disc

Question

Hello Ted.  My parking brake operation/cable adjustment at parking brake is
maxed out & I have now little parking brake action.  My car is an `88 All-Trac
Camry & has the all wheel disc brake system.  I have inspected all of the
mechanical cabling and found all cables to `seem` to be in
good enough/even-wear condition/no frilling cables.  I was hoping that you
might be able to tell me what normally gets worn out first, perhaps (1) the
parking brake lever front cable(stretched? *looks good though* (2) the
actual parking brake shoes inside the rotor drum(not sure yet/adj?), or (3)
the rotor drums are worn-out.  If it is `probably` the parking shoes in your
opinion-> could you please tell me where and how can I find them via
internet(PT. NM.), also even how they may be called (there is not a mention of
parking shoes on the Autozone or other major sites).

Thank you extremely for this help, thank you for any suggestions, Jesman:)

Answer
The parking brake shoes are adjustable, first I would recommend removing the rear bake rotor to inpect the shoes, the parking brake can be adjuste through the adjusting hole in the drum, look inside with a flashlight to locate the adjusting wheel and rotate it until the brake is just dragging a little. I have never seen these shoes wear out so I don't think that they need to be replaced.
