Toyota Repair: 98 corolla align after strut replacement, strut mounts, alignment adjustments

Question
1)after replacing the struts on the front AND/OR rear, does the 1998 corolla need a wheel alignment?
2)The springs are removed from the strut AFTER the entire assembly is removed from the car?
3)Anything tricky i should look out for when replacing the front and rear struts?

Answer
None of the alignment adjustments are changed, camber/caster is not adjustable, only the toe settings are. The springs are removed using a spring compressor after the struts are removed from the car. The top strut mounts are indexed to the strut rod, make sure the flat sides on the strut rod line up with the strut mount, it's also a good idea to mark the strut mounts so they line up with the lower mounting brackets when reassembling.
