Subject: Rear Light Failure Warning Light

1998 Toyota Camry LE, 4 Cyl, Auto, mileage 95,000.
The Rear Light Failure Warning Light located on the bottom left side of the dash board comes  "ON" when I depress the brake .
Manual says to look for broken tail lights but all lights are working.  Fuses are okay, no pinch or broken wires. I had an initial blown brake light bulb and replaced the bulb.  ALL lights are working as they are supposed to. What else can cause this Warning light to come ON?  Thanks.  I believe I have checked everything.

It can be frustrating, but you at have at least one light out.

Have a friend hold the brake pedal on while you stand at the
rear of the car and watch all lights including lights in trunk and the cyclops light in the rear window.
