Toyota Repair: 1999 TACOMA SR5, toyota tacoma sr5, nylon bushing

I have a 1999 toyota tacoma SR5 4wd with 167000 miles on the pickup.Transmission popping out of first gear.Changed shifter seat and nylon bushing on end of gear shift.Did not fix problem is transmission hard to rebuild if it can't be fix no other way

Disassembling and repairing or overhauling this transmission requires very expensive special tools and a hydraulic press plus parts are very expensive, it may be a better idea to just try to locate a good used transmission at a salvage yard, make sure it has at least a 90 day guarantee.
