This morning I turned on my cruise control and the cruise light just blinked and the cruise control did not engage. It worked fine last night.

Answer
There are a couple of things you can check but after that it will probably require connecting a diagnostic tool to get the codes stored in the computer, first make sure that the brake fluid level is at the MAX line, check to see if the stop lights are working, if the fluid is low or the stop lights don't work the cruise control won't work either.
