Toyota Repair: Toyota Tundra, toyota tundra, input sensors

Question
I am looking at an 01 Toyota Tundra 4WD with 167000 miles on it.  The check engine light is on but it seems to drive fine.  Do you have any ideas on what it might be, or what kind of repairs I am looking at in the near future with this mileage.

Answer
The check engine light is on because there is a malfunction with one of the input sensors from the powertrain to the computer, the first step is to retreive the diagnostic trouble codes, this can be done by connecting a scantool to the onboard computer that can read the codes, a lot of the larger autoparts chain stores will do this at no charge so call around, autozone is one of them that I know will do this.
